20 Series
The Comet 20 series clutch uses a ¾” top width belt. The belt design adds substantially to the driving ability of the system especially in cases where added torque capacity is required without danger of slipping the belt.
- Mounting can be on a flat, fixed plane, which requires minimum displacement
- Speed reduction ratios using 30C and 31D6 ratios – 2.68 low .90 high
- Speed reduction ratios using 30C and 31D7 ratios – 3.13 low 1.12 high
- Max 8 hp: 2 cycle
- Max 8 hp: 4 cycle
- Drive belt: ¾” top width
- Drive bore sizes: ¾” or 1”
- Drive engagement range: 1200-3100 RPM
- Driven unit diameter: 6” or 7”
- Driven unit bore: 5/8” or ¾”
- Note that a 2 1/2° angle (flat side) of drive and driven must be in alignment-most often closest to the engine
