500 Series


The model 500 drive and driven variable pulleys are installed in a power train drive system to better match output requirements with an engine output.

The 500 series torque converter system allows peak torque input and downshifts automatically to match load requirements.  This compact clutch also changes the ratio between the drive and driven pulleys so that the engine can maintain its peak power output.

  • Drive belt has .920” top width with symmetrical angles

  • 7 1/2 “ driven – .81.1 high, 3:34:1 low ratio
  • 8 ½” driven – 1.04:1 high, 3.76: 1 low ratio
  • 4 cycle-all engines up to 18 hp, 2 cycle 25 hp
  • Drive clutch bore series – available in 20 and 25mm as well as 1”
  • Driven unit diameter – 7 ½” diameter, ¾” with 1” bore or 8 ½ “diameter with ¾” bore
